Bills to Watch
HORRIBLE - HB 924: Generally revise state finance laws - Jones (Rather than returning the surplus funds to you, the taxpayer, this bill creates a slush fund for the government)
GOOD - HB 469: Revise the exemption for out-of-state driver's licenses - Sharp (Makes it illegal to drive in Montana with an out of state “privilege” card where they are already not required to prove they are here lawfully: an illegal in Utah could get a privilege card and drive in Montana under the current laws) (Tabled in Committee)
BAD - SB 535: Revise laws related to experimental treatments - Bogner (Would turn Montana into the world’s largest unregulated human medical experimentation lab)
BAD - HB 599: Ranti-student data collection laws - Nikolakakos, M - (Would allow schools to conduct “mental health screenings” on students. This is an anti-parents rights bill)
GOOD - HB 350: Prohibit enforcement of policies issued by certain intergovernmental entities - Hinkle, J.
GOOD - HB 888: Revise local board of health rules for isolation and quarantine - Hinkle, J.
GOOD - SB 265: Revise cryptocurrency laws to create Financial Freedom and Innovation Act - Zolnikov, D. (Bans Central Bank Digital Currencies)
