after the bush years this country was in a deep depression, enter Bill Clinton and he balanced the budget got us out of trouble. later after another couple republican terms we dipped into recession so deep they tried to decide if it was a depression. along comes obama. during his 8 years he brought the economy way up too record high. then trump got elected and bragged about his record breaking business. Which was sort of true, though the increases in the various indexes of the economy was much less the under obama. I am not saying that is bad, but there was an enormous decrease in the rate of increase. Biden took over as well when the economy was slowing a lot. His policies, included a major infrastructure act which this country desperately needed. Then other spending that brought back the economy. Yes, the increase in money caused inflation, a lot of which was caused by the main corporations jacking up their prices, making record profits, REIT's paying above asking prices for real estate, paying in cash, then jacking up rents and causing an explosion in home and land prices. Homelessness is expanding. Middle class is shrinking, poverty class is increasing. The big Tax cut, a couple years back (republican) cut the top tier, the very wealthy, by 35%. Each tier down, the tax cut rate shrank. At the very bottom, the people who need every nickel they get their hands on, INCREASED. I could not believe what I was seeing. Dollar wise it wasn't a lot, but the principle was disgusting. Most of my life I checked all the candidates and voted both sides, ie. the person, not the party. Today I see the far right as tunnel visioned, narrow minded, greedy ____________ . NO, I do not like a lot of what the Dems are pushing, but their positives far out way the GOP policies.
